Laura is the founder of 369 Hospitality Group, a consulting firm specializing in leadership risk mitigation for the foodservice and hospitality industry. Her career spans nearly two decades of progressive leadership, beginning as a registered dietitian after earning her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Kentucky. She rose through the ranks from regional to national leadership roles in nutrition before expanding her scope as a Vice President overseeing culinary, nutrition, and sustainability operations. As VP of Operations at Northwestern University, she led five Compass Group sectors encompassing higher education dining, athletics, hotel/restaurant management, and vending. She went on to serve as Global Director of Sustainability for Compass at Google. Laura is a lifelong learner who has earned continuing education in finance from Cornell and sustainability from Harvard Extension School. She is a sought-after speaker, having presented at national events including the FARE (Food Allergy Research & Education) conference, the Fair Trade Campaigns National Conference, and numerous organizational conferences and industry events. Her unique blend of clinical nutrition expertise, operational leadership, and sustainability strategy gives her a rare systems- level perspective on what makes hospitality organizations thrive — and what causes them to break down.
