Kristin Hankins Appointed Hotel Manager at InterContinental® New York Barclay
Hankins brings more than two decades of experience to The Barclay, most recently serving as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis where she led the team in producing strong revenue increases during its post-pandemic recovery. She is also an expert in the New York hospitality market, having led robust sales and marketing efforts for four New York properties with Highgate hotels from her area position at the Crowne Plaza Times Square and prior to that role, as the DOSM of the Omni Berkshire Place. Hankins served as the Vice President of Sales at SIXTY Hotels, building brand awareness and achieving market share growth for five hotels in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, and spent 14 years of her impressive career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she began her tenure as a global sales account director. She gained experience across the brand’s portfolio in various roles, including Director of Sales for the W Hotels of New York, and the opening Director of Sales & Marketing for The Westin New York Grand Central. Throughout her career, Hankins has exceeded revenue goals. She has established top-end hotel positioning in competitive markets. She has recruited and trained teams to successfully support and execute sales and marketing initiatives. She has established herself as a strategic business leader for upscale and luxury hotels, passionate about driving market share growth through creativity, collaboration, and best-in-class service. e are happy to share that InterContinental® New York Barclay Hotel (known as The Barclay) W announced the appointment of Kristin Hankins as Hotel Manager.
