NEW YORK, NEW YORK — The New York State Restaurant Association to hold Women in Hospitality to celebrate International Women’s Day on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at HK Hall in New York City. The inaugural event will bring together women in the industry from across New York State for professional development and networking. The state restaurant association plans for this to be an annual event to support women in the industry. “Back of the house, front of the house, service or management, women make up the very fabric of the hospitality industry. The New York State Restaurant Association believes in lifting up the women who work hard to keep doors open and service afloat. This event creates a space for women to develop tools for success and make meaningful connections to propel them forward in their careers,” said Melissa Fleischut, President and CEO of New York State Restaurant Association. The day will begin with breakfast where attendees have the opportunity to network before the program begins.
