The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) has a clear mission: “to support and promote excellence in collegiate dining.” Founded in 1958, the organization is dedicated exclusively to advancing foodservice within colleges and universities. NACUFS benefits foodservice professionals by providing education, professional development, benchmarking data, best practices, industry research and opportunities to exchange ideas with peers. Conferences, culinary competitions, awards and networking programs allow campus dining leaders to learn from successful operations and stay ahead of changing student expectations. Its impact extends beyond campus operators. Food manufacturers, equipment companies, distributors, brokers and other suppliers can participate as industry members, creating connections between vendors and college and university foodservice decision-makers.
