Editorial Advisory Board & Publication Standards The Hospitality News NY Editorial Advisory Board is a six ‑ month, remote residency designed for respected professionals across the foodservice and hospitality landscape. Members volunteer approximately five hours per month to help guide the publication’s editorial direction, strengthen ethical standards, and ensure all reporting reflects non ‑ biased analysis, responsible sourcing, and journalistic transparency. Advisory Board members provide insight on industry trends, special issues, and investigative features, contributing to the thoughtful, ethical storytelling that defines our publication. A core part of this role includes mentoring junior editors, scholarly student reporters, and interns cultivating the next generation of hospitality ‑ focused journalists, innovators, and foodservice leaders. Although primarily remote, members may be invited to attend select industry events as accredited press, representing Hospitality News NY and offering on ‑ site perspective that enriches our coverage. Through integrity, stewardship, and thought leadership, the Advisory Board helps preserve our mission while shaping the future of the publication as a trusted voice in hospitality media.
